The Great Teacher Alliance is NOT a one-time webinar with no follow-up.
Unlike many traditional professional development programs that offer a one-and-done approach, the Alliance is committed to ongoing, sustained learning experiences that support teachers over time. The Alliance recognizes that great teaching requires ongoing practice and refinement, and as such, provides a range of resources and support to help teachers continue to develop their skills and knowledge. This is a year-long experience!Â
The Great Teacher Alliance is also NOT boring.
Rather than relying on dry lectures and generic content, the Alliance offers engaging, interactive, conversational, and practical learning experiences that are designed to be immediately useful in the classroom. Teachers who participate in the Alliance can expect to come away with new ideas, strategies, and approaches that they can implement immediately in the classroom
In addition, the Great Teacher Alliance is NOT expensive.
While many professional development programs come with a hefty price tag, the Alliance is committed to making high-quality learning experiences accessible and affordable for all teachers. The Alliance offers a range of membership options and pricing plans to suit different budgets and needs, and all learning experiences are designed with cost-effectiveness in mind.
Finally, the Great Teacher Alliance does NOT require a substitute to cover your class.
Unlike some professional development programs that require teachers to take time away from their classrooms, the Alliance is designed to be flexible and convenient for teachers. Learning experiences can be completed online, at a time and place that is convenient, ensuring that teachers can continue to support their students while also investing in their own professional growth.

Educators registered for the Great Teacher Alliance are in for an extraordinary and unforgettable learning experience, thanks to the remarkable alliance between Brian Housand and Andi McNair.
Frequently referred to as "two minds with a single purpose", Brian and Andi share a profound passion for education and a common goal: to support, collaborate with, and empower educators through meaningful and transformative learning experiences.
Together, they bring a wealth of expertise and innovative approaches to help teachers design exceptional educational encounters for their students.
This powerful partnership promises to be a catalyst for growth and hopes to inspire educators to create impactful and engaging learning environments that leave a lasting impression on their students' lives.

Being a great teacher is more than just having knowledge of the subject matter. A great teacher is someone who has the ability to inspire, motivate, and engage their students, and help them learn and grow in meaningful ways.
A great teacher has a passion for teaching and a deep understanding of their subject matter. They are knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and skilled in presenting information in ways that are accessible and engaging for their students.
Great teachers are also excellent communicators, able to listen actively and communicate clearly and effectively with their students. They are patient and empathetic, able to understand and respond to the needs of each individual student.
In addition to these qualities, great teachers are also committed to ongoing professional development and continuously seek out new ways to improve their teaching skills and strategies.
Overall, being a great teacher is a complex and multifaceted endeavor that requires a combination of knowledge, skills, and personal qualities. But when done well, teaching can be one of the most rewarding and impactful professions there is.

Often professional development is a one-way street. You are receiving information from an “expert”, but there’s not really any conversation or follow up.
We all learned back in teacher school not to be the sage on the stage.
Now, many are doubling down on that in the form of talking heads on a computer screen.
Â
WE ARE DIFFERENT.Â
